BETSY M. PEACOCK
Died Sept. 2, 2014
Betsy M. Peacock passed away peacefully at Kitty Askins Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2014.
She was the youngest child born to the late Richard Edward and Sally Hales Minchew.
She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Raymond B. Peacock; two daughters, Betty Brown (Joe) of Fremont and Sally Moore (Jim) of New Bern; and her grandchildren, James O. Moore Jr. of New Bern, Andy Moore (Andrea) of Juiz-De-Fora, Brazil, Sandra (Josh) Barrett of Washington, N.C., Jay Brown (Jannice) of Lucama, N.C., and Bill Brown (Ashley) of Greensboro, N.C.
She is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Raymond B. Peacock Jr. and William Gaston Peacock; three brothers; and four sisters.
Mrs. Peacock was a member of Fremont United Methodist Church for 68 years.
Visitation will be Friday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at Fremont United Methodist Church fellowship hall.
The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. in the church sanctuary. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Fremont.

Arrangements are by Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home in Fremont.
