DONNIE GASTON ARNDER

Retired United States Air Force Senior Master Sgt. Donnie Gaston Arnder, 79, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2014, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro.
He was born in Mount Airy, N.C., to the late Lula Mae Williamson and Albert Gaston Arnder.
Mr. Arnder was preceded in death by his elder sister, Beverly Arnder Hunter of High Point, N.C.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Wilma L. Arnder; daughter, Deborah D. Hubbard and husband, Jeffrie Duane Hubbard, of Goldsboro; son, Dr. Lance L. Arnder and wife, Leng L. Arnder, of Goldsboro and Park City, Utah; son, Layne L. Arnder and wife, Myra Arnder, of Hookerton, N.C.; daughter, Laura L. Andrews and husband, Michael D. Andrews, of Raleigh, N.C.; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two beloved pet dogs, Binki and Cindi.
A service to celebrate Donnie's life will be held Aug. 30, 2014, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro.
The family will receive friends following the service.
