Elder Cleveland Parks, 90, 1011 Lincoln St., Kinston, died Thursday, Aug. 21, 2014, at home.
Funeral services will take place noon Friday, Aug. 29, 2014, at United American Free Will Baptist Tabernacle. Burial will follow in Pinelawn Memorial Park.
Survivors include son, Cleveland Parks Jr. of New York; two daughters, Doris P. Simmons and Julia O'Neil both of Kinston; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Visitation will take place Thursday, Aug. 28, 2014, at Robert Swinson Jr. Memorial Chapel from 4 to 7 p.m.
Swinson Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.
