Earl Wooten, 611 Park Ave., passed Friday, Aug. 1, 2014, at Kindred Hospital in Greensboro, N.C.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Aug. 9, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Place of Refuge Ministries, 616 S. Slocumb St., Goldsboro, N.C., with pastor Gregory Jones officiating.
Visitation will be held Friday, Aug. 8, 2014, from 1 to 8:30 p.m., with the family present from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m., in J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, N.C.
He is survived by two daughters, Syreeta Hines Gibson (Robert) of the home and Therricka Lachelle Wooten of Dudley, N.C.; two brothers, Jimmie Wooten (Yolanda) of Goldsboro, N.C., and Jerry Wooten (Carol) of Valrica, Fla.; three sisters, Mary Williams of Gaithersburg, Md., Doris Lewis of Paterson, N.J., and Shirley Dickerson Jackson (Curt) of Morris Plains, N.J.; a grandson, Trey V on Hines; and his special friend, Clara Hines of the home.
