Jean Knowles Oxendine, 68, resident of Calypso, N.C., died Wednesday, July 23, at home.
Service of remembrance will be held Saturday, July 26, at Brock's Chapel Church at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Coy Brock officiating, and with visitation afterward.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Oney and Susie Taylor Knowles, and a brother, Harry Knowles.
She is survived by her siblings, Robert Knowles of Mount Olive, Lucy Mae Mozingo of Jackson, Zadie Belle Cotton of Calypso, Johnnie Knowles of Randleman, Ernest Knowles of Sophia and Linda K. Graham of Goldsboro, and their families.
Tyndall Funeral Home assisted the family.
