ROCKY MOUNT -- Dannie Simon Parker, 63, of 8508 Sandy Lane, died Thursday at the Wilson Medical Center.
A celebration of his life will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the Hamilton Funeral Chapel, 726 Tarboro St. SW, Wilson. Bishop Marie Williamson will officiate. Burial will follow in the Rest Haven Cemetery, Lane Street Extension, Wilson.
The body will be viewed today from 2 until 7 p.m. at the Hamilton Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the residence, where they will assemble one hour prior to the service in preparation for the funeral procession.
