Doris Jones Overbee Bradshaw, 67, of Rosewood, along with her husband, Ed Bradshaw, went home to be with her Savior and Lord on Friday evening.
She was born in Johnston County, Oct. 25, 1946, and was the daughter of the late Donald Ray and Vallie Pennell Jones. She was preceded in death by her first husband of 34 years, Tony Ray Overbee. She owned and operated O.K. Upholstery in Rosewood for 32 years. She was a member of Spring Hill Free Will Baptist Church.
The funeral service will be conducted 7 p.m. Monday at Casey Funeral Home in Princeton. The committal service will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lori O. Boyette and James; brothers, Danny Jones of Rosewood and Clifton Jones of Princeton; and grandchildren, Matthew Koger, Kristen Koger, Sarah Boyette, Gabriel Boyette, James Boyette III and Joshua Boyette.
The family will be receiving friends Monday from 5:30 until 7 p.m. at Casey Funeral Home and immediately following the service.
