Swaysean Bell Burden, 63, died Wednesday, June 11, 2014, at Wayne Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.
Mrs. Burden was born Feb. 3, 1951, to the late Ned Bell and Gladys (Bell) Lewis.
She is survived by two daughters, Allison D. Burden of Carrollton, Texas, and Raegan L. Burden of Atlanta, Ga.; a stepson, Khari (Cathy) Dixon of Grifton, N.C.; a brother, Edward Bell; and a sister, Johnise (Lamont) Dudley both of Goldsboro, N.C.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donnell Burden.
Her homegoing service will be held Friday, June 20, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Goldsboro Chapel Free Will Baptist Church at 1314 Ben Brewington Court, Goldsboro, N.C., with interment following at Elmwood cemetery.
A public viewing will be held Thursday, June 19, 2014, from 1 to 6 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Chapel.
At other times, the family will receive guests, flowers and expressions at 1288 Stoney Creek Church Road, Goldsboro, N.C.
