Melinda McKenzie, 57, 107 Heather Glen Drive, died Monday in Rex Medical Center in Raleigh.
Funeral will be Monday at 11 a.m. in James T. Haskins Memorial Chapel of Haskins Funeral Home. Burial will be in Woodland Friends Cemetery.
She was born March 10, 1957, in Spartanburg, S.C., to James and Mattie Dixon Mayfield. She was married to Jonathan McKenzie.
She is survived by five children.
Visitation will be Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home. The family will receive friends at the home, where it will assemble for the funeral procession.
