Kenneth Ray Oates Sr., 46, 1425 Dover Fort Barnwell Road, Dover, died Saturday at home.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday at St. John Church of Christ Disciples of Christ, with elder Derrick M. Chapman officiating and general vice bishop Malcom S. Johnson presiding. Burial will be in Hawkins Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home, with an inspirational visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. at St. John Church of Christ Disciples of Christ.
Arrangements are by Christian Brothers Funeral Home and Cremations of Kinston.
