Sybil Malpass Lassiter, 74, Mount Olive, died Wednesday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Funeral will be Saturday at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home, with her son, pastor Jimmy Lassiter, and pastor Frederick Dixon officiating. Burial will be in Wayne Memorial Park.
Born in Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late James Franklin "Jim" and Mabel Holloman Malpass. She was married to Malcolm "Mack" Lassiter.
She is survived by a son.
Visitation will be an hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
