Dorothy K. Bynum, 72, 107 Laurel Patch Place, Goldsboro, died Saturday in Wake Medical Center in Raleigh.
She was born May 30, 1941, to Aubrey and Estella Faison Kelly in Wayne County.
Her life will be remembered and celebrated Saturday 2 p.m. at St. Mark Free Will Baptist Church in Mount Olive. Burial will follow in Carver Memorial Park.
She leaves to mourn her children, Kenneth E. Bynum, Letricia P. Singelton, Cheryl D. Cloud and Karen B. Rodgers, and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
Visitation Friday from 2 to 6 p.m. at Haskins Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the residence, where it will assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
