LINDA JEAN BOWEN

Linda Jean Bowen, 70, Goldsboro, passed away Saturday, April 19, 2014, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Linda was born in Durham County Sept. 4, 1943, and was the daughter of the late Edward Earl Bowen and Elma Lee Bowen.
She retired from Cherry Hospital, and was a member of Daniels Memorial United Methodist Church.
Linda was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She will always be loved by her children, and will be greatly missed by those who knew her.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 22, 2014, from 6 to 7 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, followed by a service celebrating Linda's life at 7 p.m. in the chapel, with the Rev. Robert Bandy officiating. Interment will be Wednesday, April 23, 2014, at 11 a.m. in Maplewood Cemetery in Durham.
Linda is survived by her sons, Todd Quinton and wife, Landi, of Olive Branch, Miss., and Barry Quinton of Knoxville, Tenn.; brother, Larry Bowen and wife, Karen, of Durham; and eight grandchildren.
