PAUL C. MANDEVILLE SR.

Paul Charles Mandeville Sr., 72, Pikeville, went to be with his Lord Wednesday morning at his home surrounded by his family.

Paul was born in Putnam County, N.Y., March 26, 1942, to the late Francis Macarius Mandeville and Mabel Shipley Mandeville. He was married to the late Jane Matthew Kornegay Mandeville.

Paul was a member of Grace Baptist Church, and had been a devoted Christian for 50 years.

He had a great love of photography and capturing moments of family and friends that will be cherished forever.

Paul was retired from Franklin Bakery Co. after 29 years of service.

A graveside service will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, with the Rev. James Frasher officiating.

Paul is survived by his sons, Ike Mandeville of Pikeville, Paul Mandeville Jr. and wife, Kerrie, of Washington, D.C., Matthew Mandeville and wife, Dawn, of Rosewood and Macarius "Marc" Mandeville and wife, Frances, of Pikeville; his grandchildren, Kathy, Mallory, Hannah, Wade, Regan and Frank; and a stepgrandchild, Jordan Dail.

He is also survived by his brothers, Tom Mandeville and wife, Jean, of Texas and John Mandeville and wife, Sue, of California, and sisters, Sue Rokop and husband, Don, of New Mexico, Carol Thurmond of Illinois, Mary Mandeville-Chase and Peter of New Mexico and Jean Turdic and Dan of Illinois.

Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to Cures for the Colors, 203 Cox Blvd., Goldsboro, N.C., 27534.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, and other times at his home, 510 W. Church St., Pikeville.
