Ms. Annie Delores King, 51, lovingly known by her family and friends as "Annie," 2909 Water Ave., Selma, Ala., formerly of Goldsboro, N.C., went to be with her Lord and savior Monday, March 31, 2014, at Vaughan Regional Medical Center in Selma, Ala.

Annie was born in Wayne County July 16, 1962, to late Mr. Moses Owens and Mrs. Ruby Jean King.

She received her education in the public school system of Wayne County. She attended Southern Wayne High School, and graduated in the class of 1981. Annie attended Wayne Community College, where she studied criminal justice.

Funeral service will be conducted Saturday, April 5, 2014, at 2 p.m. in Apostle D. L. McIntyre Memorial Chapel at McIntyre Funeral Home, 900 S. George St., Goldsboro, N.C. Elder Timothy E. Whitfield will officiate. Interment will follow in Old Mill Cemetery, 4949 Central Heights Road, Goldsboro, N.C.

Also, a public viewing will be held Friday, April 4, 2014, in Apostle D. L. McIntyre Memorial Chapel, 900 S. George St., Goldsboro, N.C., from 2 to 6 p.m.

Ms. King leaves to cherish her loving and precious memory to her daughter, Jessica L. Garner; her son, Jesse L. Garner; her grandson, Josiah I. Brennan; her sister, Diane Owens; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Saturday, April 5, 2014, and prior to Ms. King's funeral, family and friends will assemble at 1 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home, 900 St. George St., Goldsboro, N.C., in preparation for the funeral lineup.

Flowers may be sent to McIntyre Funeral Home, 900 S. George St., Goldsboro, N.C., beginning Friday, April 4, 2014, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
