Timothy Allen Wiley, 54, Goldsboro, passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2014.
Born in Pitt County, he was the son of the late Charles Joseph Wiley Sr. and Margie Ree Briley Wiley.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Elaine DeLauri.
Tim was employed by Principle IT Computer Co., where he was an IT technician.
He served his country with the United States Navy, retiring after 20 years of service, having served in the Persian Gulf during Desert Storm.
He was a member of Grifton VFW Post No. 4062.
Survivors include his daughter, Rachel Wiley of Coosbay, Ore.; sons, Brad Wiley and Jason Lydy both of Bremerton, Wash.; sisters, Carolyn Wiley and husband, Max, of Grifton and Sonja Unbehend of Cary; brothers, Willie Manning and wife, Lois, of Kinston, Quinton Manning of Richfield and Chuck Wiley and wife, Joy, of Morehead City; several nieces and nephews; and fiancée, Sally Sayer of Goldsboro.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 5, 2014, at Howard-Carter Funeral Home, with pastor Allen Ham officiating.
Howard-Carter Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
