WILLIAM AUGUST SOLTIS

William August Soltis, 64, Goldsboro, formerly of Downers Grove, Ill., passed away Sunday, March 23, 2014, at his home.
William was born in Chicago May 14, 1949, to the late John August and Virginia P. Soltis. He was married to the late Rita J. Soltis.
William was a retired millwright.
William will be remembered at Mass Sunday, March 30, 2014, at St. Alexander Catholic Church in Palos Heights, Ill. The family will also gather at a later date in Chicago for a time of remembrance.
William is survived by his daughters, Aimee Smith (Ryan) and Jenny Soltis; son, William Soltis (Lynn); daughter-in-law, Christine Soltis; grandchildren, Abigael Soltis and Augie Soltis; brothers, Christopher Soltis and Mark Soltis; and sister, Sue Carlson.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a son, August Soltis.
