Evelyn Earl Trevathan Person, 61, Big Daddy's Road, Pikeville, passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2014, at her home.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 26, 2014, at 1 p.m. from the chapel of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at noon.
Interment will follow at Wayne Memorial Park.
Mrs. Person was born in Wilson County Nov. 15, 1952, to the late Jesse James and Dorothy Hardison Trevathan.
She is survived by her husband, Harold L. Person Sr.; a son, David Taylor and wife, Melinda, of Leland; a daughter, Janet Grice of Pikeville; a sister, Linda Trevathan Smith of Pikeville; five grandchildren, Jesse, Hunter and Mayson Grice and Aliya and Graham Taylor; and three nieces, Christy Hawley Fletcher, Cheri Rhodes and Dawn Renee Barnes.
In addition to Mrs. Person's parents, she was preceded in death by a stepson, Lee Person, and her brother, Jesse Ray Trevathan.
The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro.
