Oscar Louis Grant, 60, Rosewood community, died Thursday at Kindred Hospital in Greensboro.
Private graveside services were held at Flatfield Cemetery in LaGrange.
Born Feb. 25, 1954, in Wayne County, he was the son of Louise Grant and the late Oscar "Boot" Grant.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Carolyn; a son, Oscar Jr. of the home; a daughter, Renee Rice of Pikeville; a sister, Betty Grant of Dunn; a stepsister, Portia Snider of Snow Hill; and three grandchildren.
