James Elbert Armstrong, 88, 8161 Upper Black Creek Road, Kenly, died Thursday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro.
Funeral will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Spring Hope.
Visitation will be tonight from 2 to 7 at Hamilton Funeral Chapel in Wilson, with the family present from 6 to 7. At other times, the family will be at the home, where it will assemble an hour prior to the funeral for the procession.
