Eddis Lee "Jug" Taylor, 67, died Monday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
He was born May 16, 1946 in Lenoir County to Sue Kennedy Taylor of La Grange and the late Eddie Russell Taylor.
A graveside service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. from Cobb Cemetery with pastor Adam Witter officiating.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by four siblings.
The family will receive friends following the graveside service.
