MOUNT OLIVE -- The Rev. Charles Levon Sampson, 63, 418 Franklin St., died Wednesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Mount Gilead Missionary Baptist Church, with pastor Larry B. Faison officiating. Burial will be in Cobbs Cemetery.
He was the son of the late Charlie McCrae and Ethel Harper Sampson, and husband of Rebecca Stewart Sampson.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 3 to 7 p.m. at Garris Funeral Home chapel. The family will receive friends at the home.
