PRINCETON -- Wilbert Junior Dudley, 74, Princeton, died Thursday morning at his home.
He was born Oct. 27, 1939, in Durham County to the late Wilbert Hubert and Geneva Allen Dudley.
The funeral service was conducted Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014, at 7 p.m. at Casey Funeral Home chapel, with the Rev. Rufus Massengill and the Rev. Ralph Parker officiating. Burial will be held in Princeton Cemetery Sunday, Feb. 16, at 2 p.m.
He is survived by his wife, Geraldine Martin Dudley; a son and daughter-in-law, Wilbert Andrew and Deborah Jackson Dudley; two grandsons, Legend Dudley and Dakota Roberts; a sister-in-law, Christine M. Herring; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
The family received friends beginning at 5:30 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014, at Casey Funeral Home.
Although flowers are welcome, the family suggests donations be made to the Diabetes Association for cancer research.
