Bessie Thompson, 84, 908 Lincoln Drive, Apt. B, died Friday at home.
Funeral will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Greater Guiding Star United Holy Church, with the Rev. Joseph Williams officiating. Burial will be in Old Mill Cemetery.
She was born Nov. 5, 1929, in Laurens, Ga. She was married to James Willie Thompson.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 2 to 6 p.m. at Haskins Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the home, where it will assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
