Ealie Susan Cannon, 65, passed away Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Susan was born in Wayne County Oct. 3, 1948, to the late George Strickland Jr. and Helen Smith Strickland.
She was a member of Highest Praise Tabernacle in Princeton.
The family will receive friends Thursday, Jan. 16, 2014, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Highest Praise Tabernacle, followed by a service celebrating Susan's life at 11 a.m. in the sanctuary, with the Rev. Greg Nethercutt officiating.
Susan is survived by her husband, David; children, David Ray Cannon Jr. and wife, Hollie, Adam Wayne Cannon and wife, Melissa, Valerie Warren and friend, Doug Pittman, and Tammy Barnes and husband, Bruce; brother, George Strickland; sisters, Patsy Spencer and Annette Hales; and nine grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Bryce.
