FREMONT -- Barbara Jean Wooten, 72, 705 S. Wilson St., died Friday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Funeral will be Thursday at 3 p.m. from the chapel of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro.
She was born Dec. 21, 1941, in New Hanover County to the late Eugene and Retha Sears. She was married to Kay Polk Wooten.
She is survived by two daughters and four sons.
Visitation will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
The family will receive friends other times at the home of her daughter, Angie Wooten Alnaggar, 702 N. Spence Ave., Apt. 1101, Goldsboro.
