MARGARET LOUISE BASS WARREN

Margaret Louise Bass Warren, 90, passed away Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center surrounded by her family.

Margaret was born in Wilson County March 19, 1923, to the late William Henry Bass and Lula Louise Thomlin Bass.

She had worked with Borden Manufacturing Co. for 32 years, and was a member of Ray of Hope Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church.

Margaret leaves behind a legacy of unconditional love and support for the people she cared about.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2014, at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home, with the Rev. Gene Turner officiating. Interment will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2014, at Wayne Memorial Park.

Margaret is survived by her husband of 33 years, Earl Edward Warren; daughter, Diane Lancaster of Goldsboro; sisters, Betsy Baker of Wilson, Nancy Boykin of Wilson, Barbara Lamm of Wilson and Edith Carter of Buckhorn; granddaughters, Sharon Tittle and husband, Don, of Dudley and Tammy Diorio and husband, Vinny, of Goldsboro; and three great-grandchildren, Stephanie Diorio, Victoria Diorio, and Taylor Jane Tittle.

She is also survived by her stepdaughter, Edna Earle Jennette and husband, Robert, of Goldsboro; stepson, Jerry Warren and wife, Bonnie, of Goldsboro; stepgrandchildren, Robert Jennette and wife, Susan, Tammy Williams and husband, Tim, Jimmy Lancaster, Gene Warren and Krista Foil and husband, Allen; and eight stepgreat-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Lavon Mumford, and brother, Robert Clifton Bass.

The family will receive friends following the service at Seymour Funeral Home.
