MOUNT OLIVE -- Gilbert Edward Usher, 66, 908 Oliver St., died Dec. 20 at Vidant Duplin Hospital in Kenansville.
Funeral will be Sunday at 1 p.m. at Mount Gilead Baptist Church, with apostle Preston Grimes officiating.
He was born June 5, 1947, in New Hanover County to Edward and Helen Boykin Usher.
He is survived by his children.
Visitation will be Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Mount Gilead Baptist Church.
Arrangements are by J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations.
