LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Mary Thomas Stuber, 70, returned to her heavenly father, Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013, while at Signature Healthcare at Glenview.

Mary was born Jan. 13, 1943, in Louisville, Ky., to the late James W. and Teresa Dries Thomas.

She was a 1960 graduate of Assumption High School, and a member of Epiphany Catholic Church.

Left to carry on her beautiful memory are her husband, Don Stuber; four sons, Christopher, John (Dawn), Brian and Daniel Stuber; nine grandchildren, Clare, Bailey, Emma, Ben, Camille, Jack, Andrew, Olivia and Dylan; six sisters, Martha Myers (Rob), Ruth Luckey (Tom), Norma Coon, Nancy Langan (Bob), Linda Coke and Susan Glass (Tony); her aunt, Louise Thomas; along with so many other family and friends, who loved her very much.

The family would like to extend its gratitude to Oaklawn Nursing Home and Signature Healthcare at Glenview, as well as Hosparus Staff for all the care and support it showed Mary and the family.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2013, at Epiphany Catholic Church, 914 Old Harrods Creek Road, with interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery.

Visitation will be 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Ratterman and Sons Funeral Home, 3800 Bardstown Road.

Expressions of sympathy may be directed to either Crusade for Children or Hosparus of Louisville.
