Judy Carol Edwards, 63, passed away Monday, Dec. 9, 2013, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center surrounded by her family.
Judy was born in Wayne County Dec. 21, 1949, to the late Alton and Lula Mae Young Etheridge.
She retired from Wayne County Social Services.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2013, at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home. Interment will be Thursday, Dec. 12, 2013, at 2 p.m. in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
Judy is survived by her husband, Jerry Edwards; children, Lisa Cutlip and husband, Rickey, Jay Underhill, Jaycie Cole, Jordan Cole Kelly Edwards and Kendall Edwards; grandchildren, Renee Person, Nikki Person, Shelby Edwards, Austin Talton, Ethan Talton and Dylan Talton; and two great-grandchildren, Nicholas Person and Savannah Pierson.
The family will receive friends Wednesday following the service at Seymour Funeral Home.
