STANLEY "CURTIS" LAWHORN

Stanley "Curtis" Lawhorn, 37, Goldsboro, died Oct. 26, 2013, in a single-car accident on U.S. 70 in Goldsboro.
He was born April 30, 1976, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to parents, Stanley Lawhorn and Mary Lancaster.
Curtis was studying to be a machine operator at Wayne Community College, where he was due to graduate in the spring of 2014.
He spent his high school years in Cincinnati, Ohio, but returned to Goldsboro, N.C., to pursue his education.
Curtis loved to spend time fishing and watching the Cincinnati Bengals and Cincinnati Reds play.
Curtis is survived by his daughter, Haleigh Lawhorn; his mother, Mary Lancaster; his father, Stanley Lawhorn; his sister Carrie Lawhorn Rimstidt; and his beloved niece, Penelope Rimstidt.
Visitation will be held for Curtis Wednesday, Oct. 30, from 3 to 4 p.m. at Howell's Funeral Home in Goldsboro, www.howellfuneral.com.
