FREDERICKSBURG, Va. -- Lucy Christine Thompson, 90, formerly of Newton Grove, N.C., died Sunday, Oct. 27, 2013.
Funeral service will be Thursday, Oct. 31, 2013, at 11 a.m. at West and Dunn Funeral Home chapel, with the Rev. Carol Dean officiating. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
She is survived by a daughter, LaRue Foltz of Fredericksburg, Va.; a son, James Thompson and wife, Shelia, of Stafford, Va.; grandchildren, Timmy Foltz and wife, Laura, and Justin Thompson; great-grandchildren, Samantha, Daniella and Zachary Foltz; great-great-grandchild, Brianna Foltz; and brother, Gordon Thompson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Castle Thompson; parents, William James and Nettie Thompson; and siblings, Sallie Bradford, Cider McCullen, Betty Keen, Luby Thompson, Leamon Thompson, Aaron Thompson, Annie Mae Boyette and Pearl Raso.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, Oct. 30, from 6 to 8 p.m.
