Ruby Edwards Woodall, 85, died Friday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Born in Johnston County, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Preston Edwards and Annie Cook Edwards, and mother of the late Janet W. Davis.
She was a member of Selah Christian Church.
A service to celebrate Ruby's life will be held Monday at 7 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home, with the Rev. Patrick Muston officiating.
Family members will greet friends at the funeral home immediately following the service.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday morning at 11 a.m. at Falling Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
Ruby is survived by her husband, Horace Woodall; two sons, Jerry Woodall of Goldsboro and Jeff Woodall of Dudley and his wife, Pat; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
