LUCAMA -- Peggy Nethercutt Wilson, 78, passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2013, at Wilson Medical Center.
Peggy was born in Lenoir County on Nov. 17, 1934, to the late Willie Herman Nethercutt and Sarah Philyaw Nethercutt. She was married to the late Ernest B. Wilson.
Peggy retired from the Wilson County School System, and was a member of the National School Food Service Association and Little Rock Free Will Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends Sunday, July 7, 2013, from 2 to 3 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, followed by a graveside service at 3:30 p.m. in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Wayne Eakes officiating.
Peggy is survived by her sons, Carlton Ray Wilson and wife, Brenda, of Winston-Salem, Steven B. Wilson of Dallas, Texas and Patrick S. Wilson and wife, Kim, of Lucama; brother, Willie Herman Nethercutt Jr. of Four Oaks; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Helen N. Lewis.
