Ralph Parker, 89, of Wilson and Oriental, died Thursday, July 4, 2013.
Funeral will be Monday, 11 a.m. at Evergreen Memorial Park.
He was a founder and retired owner of Parker's BBQ.
Surviving is his wife, Betty Sasser Parker; daughter, Mary Carla Hollis of Raleigh and her children, Elliot and Aaron; son, Robert Fulghum and his partner, Marty Perry, of Sarasota, Fla.; sister, Janet Forvendel of Greenville; brother-in-law, Dr. Dwight Hare and his wife, Jaynie, of Starksville, Minn. and their children, Lee Carpenter (Caroline) and their two sons, Daniel and Nathan Hare; special friends, Christopher Hollis and Crystal Jackson.
The family will be at Wilson Memorial Service, 2811 Fieldstream Drive, Sunday 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
