GRAHAM -- Mr. Gordon Kenneth Weeks Sr., 75, of 1039 Sycamore Road, Graham, died at Alamance Regional Medical Center on Monday, July 1, 2013, at 10:30 a.m.
A native of Sampson County, he was the husband of Ginja Rose Weeks, who survives, and the son of Gordon Bascom Weeks and Gladys Barwick Weeks, both deceased.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, and a retired electrical engineer.
In addition to his wife of the home, survivors include two sons, Gordon Kenneth Weeks Jr. of Portsmouth, Va. and John Mark Weeks of the home; sister, Mary Deane Radford of Durham; three grandchildren; and two stepgrandchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted at Staley Memorial Baptist Church on Saturday, July 6, 2013, at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Bennie Smith, with the family receiving friends following the service at the church.
