EUREKA -- Raymond Marshall Yelverton, 87, passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2013, at the Brian Center in Wilson.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 15, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Eureka Cemetery.
The family will receive friends following the service.
Mr. Yelverton was born in Wayne County Dec. 7, 1925, to the late Thad and Mabel Yelverton.
He was a member of Eureka United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Sally Ann Hood Yelverton; two sons, Randall Hood Yelverton of the home and Marshall Stephen Yelverton of Fremont; a sister, Hilda McMahon of Colorado; and a grandchild, Marshall Stephen Yelverton Jr.
The family is being served by Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home, 102 N. Pine S., Fremont.
