WILSON -- Alfred Carlton Jones, 60, Wilson, passed away Monday.
Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday at Joyner's Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park. The Rev. Wayne King and the Rev. Doug Radford will officiate.
The family will receive friends 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday prior to the service at Joyner's Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, and other times at 5000 Conifer Court, Wilson.
Alfred was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and son.
He was a longtime employee of Piggly Wiggly.
Alfred is survived by his daughters, Tammy Lynn Conrad of Fremont and Lisa Renee Jones of Taylorville; his son, Jason Carlton Jones of Goldsboro; his grandchildren, Ryan Scott Conrad, Kaitlyn Marissa Conrad, Brittany Lynn Tomlinson and Matthew Dylan Tomlinson; his great-granddaughter, Kylie Conrad; his mother, Hazel Boykin Jones of Wilson; his sisters, Mary Sue Bradford of Wilson and Judy Jones Liverman of Zebulon; and his brothers, Jeff Jones of Youngsville and Mike Jones of Burlington.
He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Blake Jones.
