SEVEN SPRINGS -- Carrie Strickland Outlaw, 86, died Friday morning at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro.
She is survived by her eight children, Lynwood Earl Outlaw, Annie Belle Mumford and her husband, Gary, Patricia Walker and husband, Jimmy, Carroll Outlaw and wife, Lydia, Rodney Outlaw and wife, Cindy, Judy Holland and husband, Ralph, Kenneth Outlaw and wife, Jean and Larry T. Outlaw and wife, Kathy; she is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wesley and Belle Howell Strickland; a daughter-in-law, Shirley Outlaw; and two grandchildren.
Services will be held Monday, June 10, 2013, at 11 a.m. in the morning at Cricket Ridge Church with the Rev. Elbert and the Rev. Juanita Hollowell officiating. Burial will follow at Grady-Outlaw Cemetery in Dudley.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday evening, June 9, 2013, from 7 to 9 p.m. and at other times at the home of Tony & Kathy Outlaw on Cricket Ridge Road.
