MARYLENE B. MOORE

Marylene Briley Moore, age 90, of Woodard's Care Memory Unit, died Friday morning at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
She was born in Pitt County to the late Fenner B. and Jennie Whitehurst Briley and was married to the late Donald James Moore.
An active member of St. Luke United Methodist Church, she was a homemaker and a loving mother and grandmother.
The family will be receiving friends today from 2 to 3 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 3 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home with the Rev. Adam Seate officiating. Burial will follow at Wayne Memorial Park. At other times the family will be at the home of Gary & Nancy Moore.
She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Donald Gary and Nancy Moore, Jeffery Glenn and Betty Jo Moore, James Todd Moore and Billie Jo McCullen and Mark Alan and Lauri Moore; three sisters, Jenny Tripp, Virginia Sasser and Elsie Allegood; and five grandchildren.
