BLANCHE CHRISTINE "CHRIS" ROBERTS FAULKNER

CLINTON -- Mrs. Blanche Christine "Chris" Roberts Faulkner, 84, 208 Kimbrough Road, died at her home Tuesday, May 28, 2013.

A private graveside service will be held Friday morning at 11 a.m. in Clinton Cemetery.

A memorial service will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Charles Allard officiating.

Born in 1928 in Sampson County, Mrs. Faulkner was the daughter of the late Leslie and Druella Byrd Roberts.

She was a retired financial secretary, and a member of First Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Henry "Jack" Clarence Faulkner Jr.; daughter-in-law, Sandra Britt and husband, Frankie, of Florence, S.C.; brother-in-law, Charles "Chuck" Hill of Lexington, Ky.; sister-in-law, Ernestine F. Brewer and husband, Bobby, of Goldsboro; brother-in-law, Arthur Faulkner and wife, Jean, of Clinton; several nieces and nephews; and a grandchild, Lauren Faulkner Reed and husband, Henry.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Victor Leslie Faulkner and Jack Vernon Faulkner, and two sisters, Ruth Hill and Eloise Lewis and husband, Graham.

The family will receive friends in the church sanctuary following the memorial service Friday, and other times at her home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 408 College St., Clinton, N.C., 28328.
