Sunday morning, May 5, 2013, God saw fit for Mr. Thomas Lee Sparks to be called out of time and into eternity.
Thomas was born May 27, 1946, to the late Mrs. Ula Burkhart of Lancaster, Ky., and the late Mr. Jessie Sparks of Irvin, Ky.
He united in holy matrimony to Kathy Jo Sparks 44 years ago.
He lived a very good life in his earlier years, and later in life, as his health declined, he always still had a smile.
He leaves to cherish his memories his devoted wife, Kathy Jo Sparks of the home; a loving son, Brian Sparks of Nicholasville, Ky.; a caring daughter, Kimberly Ann Canady of Kenly; two adorable grandchildren, Sabrina Ariel Canady and Nathaniel Thomas Canady of Kenly; two caring sisters, Anna Lee Brandenburg of Nicholasville, Ky., and Loris Brandenburg of Lexington, Ky.; a dedicated brother, Don Brandenburg of Kenly, N.C.; and a host of other relatives, nieces, nephews and friends.
Graveside service will be held at Wilder Family Cemetery Wednesday, May 8, 2013, at 11 a.m., 697 Boswell Road, Kenly, N.C., 27542. Services will be conducted by Community Funeral Home of Kenly.
