WARSAW -- Mildred Mozelle Marks Pridgen, 90, Warsaw, passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton, N.C.
Mrs. Pridgen was born Sept. 26, 1922, in Winters, Texas, to the late Ernest Marks and Blondie Parks Marks. She was also the wife of the late John Campbell Pridgen Jr.
Mrs. Pridgen is survived by son, John "Johnny" Campbell Pridgen III of Warsaw, N.C.; daughter, Linda P. Allen and husband, Grady, of Cornellius, N.C.; brother, Robert Marks of Abilene, Texas; sister, Wanda Marks of Fort Worth, Texas; five grandchildren, Cam Pridgen and wife, Tracy, of Warsaw, Kelly Probst and husband, Gary, of Cleremont, Fla., Ryan Pridgen of Warsaw, N.C., Jessica Pridgen of Fayetteville, N.C., and Stephen Allen and Erin Hunter of Washington, D.C.; and two great-grandchildren, Cole and Clay Pridgen of Warsaw.
Visitation will be held 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, May 9, 2013, at Community Funeral Home of Warsaw Inc.
A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, May 10, 2013, at Warsaw United Methodist Church. Burial will follow the service in Devotional Gardens.
