LAGRANGE -- Timothy Ray Scott, 54, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, April 25, 2013, at his home.
Tim was born in New York on April 13, 1959, to James Rayford Scott and Nancy Corbett Scott. He attended Woods Grove Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church. Tim was happiest when he was in his garden and helping his family and neighbors. He enjoyed attending church and spending time with his family and friends.
A service to celebrate Tim's life will be held Sunday, April 28, 2013, at 2:30 p.m. at Woods Grove Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. Barry Teague officiating. Interment will follow at Wayne Memorial Park.
In addition to his parents, Tim is survived by his brothers, Gregory Scott and wife, Kaye, Patrick Scott and wife, Tracy, Jimmy Scott and wife, Amy and Andrew Scott and wife, Amy; nieces and nephews, Sabrina Crisp and husband, Jeff, Stephanie Adams and husband, Daniel, Jamie Scott, Danielle Scott, Rianna Scott, Kelsey Scott, Alaina Scott, Aiden Scott and Keira Crisp.
Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to Woods Grove Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church, 4009 Central Heights Road, Goldsboro, N.C., 27534.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at Woods Grove Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church and at other times at the home of his parents.
