MARY B. SMITH

SNOW HILL -- Mary Elizabeth Braswell Smith, 72, Snow Hill, passed away Monday morning at home.
She was born in Wilson County to the late George Lee and Lucille Joyner Braswell, and was the wife of the late Nollie James Smith Jr.
She was a member of Bogue Banks Baptist Church.
Memorial services will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. at Fort Run Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church, with the Rev. Cindy Bartlet officiating.
Mary is survived by two daughters, Pamela Jaye and Chrystal Hart; two grandchildren, Justin Hart and Stephanie Shafer; and three great-grandchildren, Taylor Hart, Tyler Hart and Maci Lynn Shafer.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy L. Braswell, and a sister, Loretta Glover.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the charity of your choice.
