MARY ELIZABETH JOHNSON

Mary Elizabeth Johnson, 83, went on to be with her Lord on March 2, 2013, at her home.
Mary was born in Wayne County on June 23, 1929, to the late Marvin L. and Carrie Cook Davis. She was married to the late Clayton William Johnson.
Mary had a great love for her children and grandchildren. She was a member of Victory Free Will Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 7, at 6 p.m. in the Chapel of Seymour Funeral Home with the Rev. Fred Crank officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at Seymour Funeral Home. Interment will be on Friday at 10 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.
Mary is survived by her son, Gregory Turnage and wife, Judy of Rosewood, daughters, Delores Johnson of Lake Mary, Fla., and Mary Allene Cusick of Ocala, Fla., and sister Marjorie Worrell of Goldsboro, as well as six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by her sisters, Barbara Perkins, Helen Sauls and Dorothy Talton.
