Retired Air Force Senior Master Sgt. Brian Michael Straight, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013.

Brian was born in Glens Falls, N.Y., Nov. 18, 1952, to the late Quentin and Helen Straight.

He retired from the United States Air Force after 20 years of service.

After his retirement from the military, he worked for International Paper, the United States Postal Service, Saratoga County Corrections and City Electric in Goldsboro.

Brian took pride in serving the Corinth community with the Corinth Volunteer Fire Department in Corinth, N.Y.

Whether he was at the ocean or in the woods, Brian was a true sportsman, who was most comfortable outdoors. Above all else, he loved spending time with his family and friends. He will be greatly missed.

The family will receive friends Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, followed by a service of remembrance at 2 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery with full military honors.

Brian is survived by his wife of 33 years, Chol Sun; his daughter, Kelly A. Crookston and husband, Brian M. Crookston, of Virginia; sisters, Judy Schkrioba and husband, Nick, of Porters Corners, N.Y., and Bonnie Peck and husband, Tim, of Corinth, N.Y.; brother, Gary Straight of Corinth, N.Y., and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ricky Straight.
