GRIMESLAND -- The Rev. Albert Mercer Rollins, 84, died Thursday.
A service of remembrance was Saturday at 2 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home with Pastor Leonard Bowers officiating. Interment followed at the Rollins Family Cemetery.
The Rev. Rollins was born in Wayne County to the late Lloyd and Maude Rollins. He was preceded in death by his wife, Irene Eubanks Rollins.
Rev. Rollins is survived by two children.
The family received friends Saturday from 1 until 2 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home.
