Flora Johnson Brinson, 61, 704 Forest Road, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013, at Wayne Memorial Hospital surrounded by family.
A homegoing celebration will be held Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, at noon at Goldsboro-Raleigh District Assembly, 211 W. Hooks River Road, Goldsboro, with pastor Edmond Edwards officiating.
She was born in Duplin County June 22, 1951, to Charlie Augustus Johnson and Mary Elizabeth Newkirk Johnson.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the National Kidney Foundation or DaVita Goldsboro South, Patient Emergency Fund, c/o Tanya DeLeon, 1704 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, N.C., 27534.
