WALLACE -- Bessie K. Brooks, 91, died Saturday at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Magnolia Baptist Church. Burial will be at Devotional Gardens.
She was born June 14, 1921, in Duplin County to the late Daniel Franklin Knowles and Mattie Register Knowles. She was married to the late John David Brooks.
She is survived by a son.
Visitation will be tonight from 7 to 9 at Community Funeral Home of Rose Hill.
